I am Rongo, Maori God of Land Cultivation, Hunter of New Ideas, Father of New Zealand and Provider for My Family. My people were industrious, and created villages and agricultural lands that functioned in harmony with Mother Earth. We made strong boats that carried some of my children to many islands. Our society was in balance, the women were the peace weavers and prepared the food, and the men were the hunters and farmers. Individuals specialized in different fields such as poetry, wood carving, bone carving, and tattooing. Our religion did not have the constraints of societal taboos, and tattoos were a common practice to mark landmarks in people’s lives.

Modern living has taken its toll on all people, and there is sickness because of poisoned tobacco, alcohol, drugs, stress, poverty, environmental toxins, unsafe food, poisoned water, technological overload, violence, abuse, and loss of language and culture. People are getting sick and the bees are dying because of the frequencies in the air. Environmental disasters are happening all around us, just as disasters will happen in your personal life unless denial is vanquished. Today’s societies need to wake up and get with the program! They need to step up and demand that their government’s laws protect women, children, youth, and men, and also protect the land from ravaging by corporations.
